Actress Vanessa Hudgens Wins Key Ruling in Case Against Music Producer

A music producer violated the terms of an agreement he had with “High School Musical’ star Vanessa Hudgens that settled an earlier lawsuit he filed against her, a judge ruled today.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Malcolm Mackey granted the actress’ motion asking that Johnny Vieira be found in breach of the written accord and that judgment be entered against him.

Vieira represented himself in the case, but did not show up for today’s hearing or file any opposition to Hudgens’ motion.

Hudgens’ lawyer, Christopher F. Wong, declined to comment on today’s ruling.

The legal disputes between Hudgens and her former mentor began in August 2008 when he sued her, alleging she breached a contract between them and owed him $5 million for helping start her career.

Vieira maintained he was the one who saw something special in Hudgens when he heard her sing at age 16 with a girls’ group.

He claimed the agreement called for him to equally share in advances, royalties and merchandising from Hudgens’ career before she was cast in “High School Musical”, but that she later turned her back on him. The two settled the first case last year.

Hudgens filed her own lawsuit in July 2009, alleging Vieira breached the terms of the settlement by engaging in “false advertising’ and making “misrepresentations to the public concerning an alleged ongoing business relationship’ with her.

Vieira allegedly refused to turn over photographs of the 21-year-old actress, longtime girlfriend of actor Zac Efron.

Efron, Hudgens ‘are better than ever’

Zac Efron has said that his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens is going “better than ever”.

The 22-year-old was asked about his five-year romance with Hudgens during an appearance on ITV1′s Daybreak this morning to promote new film Death And Life Of Charlie St Cloud.

“I’m dating Vanessa, it’s going amazing, it’s great, it’s better than ever. She wishes she was here, London’s her favourite place in the world,” he told Kate Garraway.

“She’s super jealous right now and I should probably go call her and tell her that I landed and everything’s good!”

Efron also spoke about his role in drama Charlie St Cloud, which revolves around a special relationship between two brothers, and revealed that he shares a close relationship with his own brother.

“It’s like having a partner in crime your whole life, you know?” he said. “A built in friend. We shared bunkbeds our whole lives so it’s safe to say we are very close.”

He added: “When I read the script I was emotionally grabbed by it; the relationship between the brothers was very cool and something that I had some insight on.”

Charlie St Cloud opened in the US this summer and hits cinemas in the UK on October 8.

Zac & Vanessa Leave Urban Outfitters

During his last premiere out of USA, Zac said “I’ve been gone for 2 weeks so when I come home we’re [Zac & Vanessa] sorta inseparable“. Well, looks like they are really enjoying their time together.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted leaving Urban Outfitters in Los Angeles on 23 September 2010. Enjoy the pics!

According to the reports, Zac spotted a photographer and yelled at Vanessa, “run to the car.” The couple ran out the back door and jumped into a white Audi SUV. Vanessa used her hand to cover up her face, while Zac ducked down in full disguise black beanie, mirrored sunglasses, beard and mustache. Zac’s pants were sagging and almost falling off his butt.

Zac Efron: He has no plans to marry Vanessa Hudgens

Zac Efron has no plans to marry Vanessa Hudgens. The 22-year-old star – who began dating the brunette beauty after they met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005 – doesn’t want the “pressure” of making an official commitment to their relationship until he is much older.

He said: “No, I’m not going to get married for a while.
“I think I’ve always said I’m not going to get married ’til I’m 30. I’m going to wait. I wouldn’t want that kind of commitment or pressure at this point.”

The Californian hunk recently admitted the reason his five-year relationship with 21-year-old Vanessa has worked so well is because they have kept it private and try not to let attention bother them too much.

Zac said: “Not much of it is public to be honest. We don’t talk about it other than the fact that it exists. We just try to keep it to ourselves, which is what we take a sense of pride in because we don’t need to share that.

“During ‘High School Musical’ I didn’t know how to handle it, but if you just live your life and keep doing what you do and don’t care if they take pictures – they can’t slow you down.”

Vanessa Hudgens: Shadow Was Actually Stella’s!

It’s so often the little sister’s curse to be left with secondhand goods. Last year’s dress, hand-me-down video games. The trade went the other way around for Vanessa Hudgens, at least in the case of her dog Shadow.

We all love Vanessa Hudgens toy poodle Shadow, but what we didn’t know is that she was actually sister Stella’s!

“She was actually my little sister’s dog, but she didn’t know how to handle a little, tiny, three-pound puppy,” Hudgens told PEOPLEPets.com at Wednesday’s Axe Music One Night Only concert in Los Angeles. “Shadow actually adopted me as her mom and kind of abandoned [my sister]. So now she’s my little sweetheart.”

The toy poodle, now 6, still gets to spend time with Stella, 14, but it seems this petite pooch is plenty occupied just being herself.

“She’s very, very spunky. She has way too much personality,” Hudgens said. “Unless you give her attention and baby her, she’s going to want to kill you.”

In keeping with her big personality, Shadow is “a little bit picky” about who she likes — luckily, Hudgens is one of them — and she has something of an independent spirit. Some might call her stubborn.

“I brought her on a hike in Malibu, and I took her down to this little stream to see if she wanted some water,” Hudgens said. “She started walking in the water and literally plopped herself down into mud. I’m like, ‘Shadow, no!’ I picked her up, put her back in the water, and she just went right back over to her little mud pile and sat in it. She’s silly. She has a mind of her own.”
