“High School Musical” stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens has not been seen together in public for a month now. The young couple is too busy with their individual projects in separate places. Vanessa Hudgens is filming her upcoming flick in Hawaii. Vanessa Hudgens is the female lead in “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” where stars opposite to Josh Hutcherson . After wrapping up in Hawaii, Vanessa Hudgens will head to North Carolina to shoot the rest of the scenes. In the meantime Zac Efron will get busy with the screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks book “The Lucky One”. The film will be directed by Ocsar nominee, Scott Hicks and it will be shot in Louisiana. |

Getting out of her character, Vanessa Hudgens grabs a plate of food during a lunch break on the set of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in Hawaii on Thursday afternoon (October 28). The 21-year-old actress plays Kailani, a Pacific Islander who gets swept into the adventure and end up falling for Josh Hutcherson’s Sean Anderson. After wrapping in Hawaii, the adventure flick is set to head over to North Carolina to finish out.

Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. She next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds. Hudgens' most prominent role was as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She earned critical acclaim for her role as Sa5m in the 2009 film Bandslam. Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four, and was later certified Gold. Hudgens released her second album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in the U.S. After HSM, Vanessa branched out and played as Lindy in Beastly and Blondie in Sucker Punch. V went back to her theater roots and played the role of Mimi in the theater show, Rent. Why do you love Vanessa Hudgens?
She is my role model. HSM were like my only childhood memory. I was never hooked by Harry Potter, Lord of Rings, Star Wars, Teletubbies (?) ... I knew they existed but looked interesting to me. I don't even know that Teletubbies(?) existed until now that I am 16! I'll be honest. I'm more hooked with Zanessa than Vanessa alone. Even though they broke up I am still rooting for them. I am addicted to those two! Have you seen them look at each other? I sound hysterical. :p But really, it was the day that I believed that true love is still alive. They’re like my priority. Stalkerish? I don’t know. HAHAHA!
