Happy New Year, Nessasters!

This is our last post for 2010 and we thank you for being a part of our Vanessa Hudgens Philippines family!

2011 – A year everyone’s waiting for especially us, Nessasters, because it is Vanessa Hudgens year for she will have 3 movies this coming 2011 (Beastly, Sucker Punch and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island).

Ho, Ho, Ho Awards: Zac vs. Vanessa

Young Hollywood poured one out, big-time, when it was announced that High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens called it quits. Even though we think the two will get back together at some point, that doesn’t mean they can’t have their fun in the meantime.

We know the split is recent, so who do you predict will be the bigger ho?

Zac Efron: It’s so clear  Zac is dying to get some pent-up bad-boy behavior out of his system. While we’ve reported that Mr. Efron is getting his flirt on with his Lucky One costar, it’s only a matter of time before he realizes he can have pretty much any girl he wants. And we think he will!

Vanessa Hudgens: Just because V’s nude photo scandal seems ages ago, it’s not like we forgot. The Disney darling has as much naughty in her as the rest of them! Even though it’s been all “girl’s night out” for Ms. Hudgens, her restrained wild attitude must be released! Oh, and the fact her body is banging doesn’t lead us to think she’ll be hurting for company.

SUCKER PUNCH will NOT be in 3D

This past July, director Zack Snyder and producer Debbie Snyder strongly implied that their latest film, Sucker Punch, would not be getting a 3D post-conversion.  However, earlier today, Bleeding Cool reported that the movie was listed among various films playing in 3D at the BFI IMAX.

We have now spoken with multiple sources close to the production who have confirmed that Sucker Punch will not be in 3D.  So there you have it: we don’t have to worry about a crappy 3D post-conversion for this film.  For those not familiar with the movie, hit the jump for the film’s trailer and synopsis.  Sucker Punch stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, and Jon Hamm.  It opens in 2D on March 25, 2011.

Here’s the official synopsis for Sucker Punch:

Close your eyes. Open your mind. You will be unprepared. “Sucker Punch” is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary. She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls–the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)–to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm). Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey–if they succeed–will set them free.

Zanessa Spotted Together Again!

Be happy, Zanessa fans! Zac and Vanessa were spotted together again. No pics are avaliable so far, but people carry on seeing them together.

First, the brazilian paparazzi, Alison Silva, said on his Twitter that Vanessa was spotted arriving and leaving Zac’s house on December 25th. He’s Miley Cyrus’ friend and he keeps in touch with Hollywood celebs world, check his tweet below:

Vanessa Hudgens Been Texting Zac Efron a Lot

Vanessa Hudgens might be on track to rekindle her romance with Zac Efron. Celebrity blogger Zack Taylor has recently claimed that the actress playing Blondie in “Sucker Punch” has been exchanging text messages with the “Charlie St. Cloud” actor after they decided to split recently.

“[Zac and Vanessa] are text messaging each other a lot,” one of Vanessa’s friends informed the blogger. “I know [Vanessa] misses him, and doesn’t like the fact that she will be alone for New Years.” The so-called pal further spilled that the “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” beauty “has been on one date” since the split, but found it “just wasn’t for her”.

Report of Vanessa and Zac parting ways after years of dating surfaced on December 14. At that time, one of their pals insisted to E! News that their break-up was amicable. “It’s nothing dramatic. There’s no third party involved. They are still talking and still friends. There’s no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up,” so the inside source said.

Vanessa herself admitted that she indeed has kept a good relationship with Zac post-split. Asked on how things are going on between her and her 23-year-old ex during her 22nd birthday bash at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 18, the “Beastly” actress simply told People magazine, “We’re good”.

Sucker Punch Is The First Must See Movie Of 2011

Although 2011 has many people excited to see what Thor has in store, it is Zack Snyder (300 and Watchmen) who has captured my attention with his upcoming action-fantasy film Sucker Punch.

The film features an all-female ensemble cast which includes Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung and others in what appears to be one helluva kick-ass romp. The movie revolves around a young girl in the 1950s who is about to be lobotomized and attempts to escape an insane asylum with her friends. But the Snyder touch comes in the form of the young girl’s vivid imagination that turns her and her friends into a bad ass chick clique toting machine guns in what appears to be a dark version of Alice in Wonderland.

Her incredible imagination is brought to the big screen by Snyder’s incredible use of special effects, making this film look like a pumped up 300 with an all female cast. It’s due to hit theaters next March so check out this featurette and see if you are as pumped up about it as I am.
