Zac and Vanessa can’t stay away from each other, but an insider tells us they haven’t committed to officially reuniting! Calling all Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens fans! One of Hollywood’s favorite couples seem to be well on their way to getting back together. Zac, 23, was photographed at a Journey 2 “hats and wigs” cast party in Wilmington, North Carolina on Saturday night and it looks like Vanessa Hudgens is the girl in the left-hand corner of the Twitter picture, provided by @EfronAticAA. Vanessa, 22, is starring in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and it is so sweet that Zac visited her — but was it purely platonic? @juxxxtin’s friend was at the party and saw the duo being very touchy with each other. Some reports claim there was kissing involved! So what is REALLY going on with Zac and Vanessa? A HollywoodLife.com insider exclusively tells us that the pair are “comfortable flirting and acting like a couple amongst friends” but firmly says “nothing is official. They are just friends with benefits and while something more is certainly possible, they are taking things slow.” Our source adds, “It’s obvious they still have strong feelings for each other and are continuing to hook up.” But it wasn’t all about Zac and Vanessa cuddling up all weekend — Zac was also photographed with One Tree Hill’s Austin Nichols (thanks @ls23clemson) and chatted with the show’s pregnant actress Bethany Joy Galeotti. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens cause a stir in Wilmington |

As we reported a few weeks back, Vanessa Hudgens is currently in shooting Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in Wilmington, NC. The movie, which is a follow up to 2008′s Journey To The Center Of The Earth , also stars Dwayne Johnson and Michael Caine who have been seen around town, but it’s the sightings of Hudgens and her on-again boyfriend Zac Efron that have become the talk of the town. Last week Perez Hilton first reported that Zac and Vanessa were apparently back together and that they had been spotted eating at a downtown Wilmington restaurant before returning to the same hotel. Another source told Perez that they “spotted the pair walking hand in hand in Downtown Wilmington looking very much in love”. Since that first report, Twitter and Facebook have been abuzz with Zac and Vanessa sightings around Wilmington. On Monday, one Wilmington resident posted, “Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron just walked by me at my gym,” while over the weekend, Kristian_16 tweeted, “Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are back together! I just saw them in Wilmington.” Journey 2 will continue filming in Wilmington through February 10 at the same studio used by One Tree Hill- Screen Gems. |

Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. She next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds. Hudgens' most prominent role was as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She earned critical acclaim for her role as Sa5m in the 2009 film Bandslam. Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four, and was later certified Gold. She is my role model. HSM were like my only childhood memory. I was never hooked by Harry Potter, Lord of Rings, Star Wars, Teletubbies (?) ... I knew they existed but looked interesting to me. I don't even know that Teletubbies(?) existed until now that I am 16! I'll be honest. I'm more hooked with Zanessa than Vanessa alone. Even though they broke up I am still rooting for them. I am addicted to those two! Have you seen them look at each other? I sound hysterical. :p But really, it was the day that I believed that true love is still alive. They’re like my priority. Stalkerish? I don’t know. HAHAHA!
