Shopping at Beverly Hills


After starting the day off with a morning workout, Vanessa prettied herself up before venturing out for a little family shopping in Sherman Oaks, CA on Monday afternoon (July 25).

She joined her mother Gina and sister Stella on a trip to the Westfield Shopping Center – emerging awhile later toting a Little Brown Bag from Bloomingdales.

    The “Sucker Punch” star dressed for the summertime heat in a sleeveless grey top with a light pink hippie-style skirt as she drove her brand new Audi s5 to a local shopping center for the retail therapy session with her gal pals.

    Revealed: How Vanessa Hudgens Hid Short Hair for Months

    Vanessa Hudgens recently debuted a short hair cut, which shocked and surprised her fans. For her new film Gimme Shelter the Neutrogena spokeswoman and High School Musical star was willing to go all the way to fit the role. While most actresses—Natalie Portman excluded—would have worn a wig rather than go all the way, Vanessa Hudgens chose to be authentic and cut her hair for real. The long, luscious locks fans once knew are no more; Vanessa now has a shorter, choppier look. But what her fans probably didn’t realize was that while she just introduced her new haircut this week, she’s been wearing it like that for nearly two months! How did she manage to keep it under wraps all that time?

    “I cut it off as soon as I started the film which was about two months ago,” said Vanessa Hudgens on her short hair. “We’ve been shooting in the middle of nowhere, in some pretty hood areas—abandoned hospitals—so it took a while for the paparazzi to figure out where I was, which I am very thankful about.”

    Now we all know the stalkarazzi are like the FBI—how did they not catch wind of Vanessa Hudgens filming her new movie all that time? Perhaps they were too caught up following her ex Zac Efron, trying to figure out whom he was or wasn’t dating! Or maybe they mistook Hudgens for an extra when they saw her onset. She is fairly unrecognizable.

    If Vanessa Hudgens cut her hair two months ago, fans only have to wait, oh, two years or so for it to get back to her old length. Ay yi yi! It’s a long time, but luckily Vanessa can turn to extensions if she feels like going back to her old look.

    Vanessa Hudgens Likes Checking Out “Cute Boys”

    Vanessa Hudgens is loving being single – she enjoys the opportunity to check out “cute boys”.

    The High School Musical star was in a steady relationship with hunky co-star Zac Efron for five years, but since their split in December (2010) – she admits she’s enjoying her single status.

    “I think it’s really important to love yourself and truly just be happy with yourself and just kind of let the rest of it fall into place,” V told E! News.

    “It is fun to go look at cute boys. But at the same time, I like being single. I feel like I have all this time for myself to be able to do these roles.”

    Vanessa’s latest movie role in Gimme Shelter sees her with no make-up, a Justin Bieber haircut and piercings. She confessed: “I kind of look like a boy throughout the whole movie.

    “In the beginning, my character cuts her hair and we were cutting it and it didn’t look like I was cutting it myself, so I grabbed the scissors and started cutting my actual hair.”
