Hudgens, Efron not hosting ‘X-Factor’ |

 A representative for Vanessa Hudgens has dismissed reports the actress will host upcoming U.S. talent show The X Factor with her longterm boyfriend Zac Efron. Music mogul Simon Cowell is currently making plans to take his hit U.K. TV series stateside and was said to have asked the High School Musical sweethearts to front the revamped programme. But a spokesperson for Hudgens insists the actress has no plans to take on any TV work in the foreseeable future, telling GossipCop.com the reports are “not true”. |

Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. She next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds. Hudgens' most prominent role was as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She earned critical acclaim for her role as Sa5m in the 2009 film Bandslam. Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four, and was later certified Gold. Hudgens released her second album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in the U.S. After HSM, Vanessa branched out and played as Lindy in Beastly and Blondie in Sucker Punch. V went back to her theater roots and played the role of Mimi in the theater show, Rent. Vanessa's upcoming movies are Journey 2: The Mysterious Island where she plays Kailani alongside Josh Hutcherson, Gimme Shelter as Apple alongside Brendan Fraser, Frozen Ground as Cindy alongside Nicolas Cage and John Cusack, Spring Breakers alongside Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts. Vanessa is also the new Candie's Girl.
