New ‘Beastly’ Movie Featurette Features Vanessa Hudgens & More |

She always seems to pick winners, and Vanessa Hudgens‘ upcoming movie “Beastly” looks to be quite the intriguing film. The “High School Musical” starlet plays a high school student who is in love with the popular guy on campus, even when he’s turned into a scary-looking ‘beast’ for being so conceited. New ‘Beastly’ movie featurette features Vanessa Hudgens & more. CBS Films recently released a new featurette (below) for their upcoming sci-fi,drama flick “Beastly.” It shows scenes from the movie,along with commentary from actors: Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer, Neil Patrick Harris, Dakota Johnson, and Mary-Kate Olsen. This new Beastly movie looks very interesting, and Vanessa appears to be moving her acting career along in the right direction. In “Beastly,” Vanessa plays a high school student who is in love with the popular guy on campus. However, he eventually gets turned into a scary-looking “beast” for being too conceited. It’s like a modern-day “Beauty and the Beast” flick. Vanessa’s character proves herself to be real by not caring about his looks,and still appreciating who he is on the inside. “Beastly” really drives home the point that beauty is on the inside as well as the outside of a person. “Beastly” movie is scheduled to hit theaters on March 18,2011. |

Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. She next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds. Hudgens' most prominent role was as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She earned critical acclaim for her role as Sa5m in the 2009 film Bandslam. Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four, and was later certified Gold. Hudgens released her second album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in the U.S. After HSM, Vanessa branched out and played as Lindy in Beastly and Blondie in Sucker Punch. V went back to her theater roots and played the role of Mimi in the theater show, Rent. Vanessa's upcoming movies are Journey 2: The Mysterious Island where she plays Kailani alongside Josh Hutcherson, Gimme Shelter as Apple alongside Brendan Fraser, Frozen Ground as Cindy alongside Nicolas Cage and John Cusack, Spring Breakers alongside Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts. Vanessa is also the new Candie's Girl.
