Vanessa Hudgens shows off her SU2C shirt as she arrives at the Stand Up To Cancer telethon held at Sony Pictures Studios on Friday afternoon (September 10) in Culver City, Calif. The 21-year-old actress joined other young Hollywood celebs in a special “Change The Odds” PSA which debuted last month. Zac Efron, Sofia Vassilleva, Logan Lerman, William Moseley and others took a stand. The SU2C special airs TUESDAY, September 10th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, E!, Style Network, HBO, and more.                |

Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. She next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds. Hudgens' most prominent role was as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She earned critical acclaim for her role as Sa5m in the 2009 film Bandslam. Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four, and was later certified Gold. Hudgens released her second album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in the U.S. After HSM, Vanessa branched out and played as Lindy in Beastly and Blondie in Sucker Punch. V went back to her theater roots and played the role of Mimi in the theater show, Rent. Vanessa's upcoming movies are Journey 2: The Mysterious Island where she plays Kailani alongside Josh Hutcherson, Gimme Shelter as Apple alongside Brendan Fraser, Frozen Ground as Cindy alongside Nicolas Cage and John Cusack, Spring Breakers alongside Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts. Vanessa is also the new Candie's Girl.
