Actress Vanessa Hudgens, who has adopted a grungy look to play a pregnant tomboy in ” Gimme Shelter”, misses her long tresses. “It’s really intense. I’m still getting used to it. I play this girl who’s, like, homeless and she doesn’t really care about her look… I kind of look like a boy throughout the whole movie,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying. “In the beginning, my character cuts her hair and we were cutting it and it didn’t look like I was cutting it myself, so I grabbed the scissors and started cutting my actual hair. “I miss it (hair)… My sister is, like, my best friend and she naturally has, like, the longest hair, so whenever I’m around her I’m giving her the evil eye,” she added. Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her screen debut in the 2003 drama film Thirteen as Noel. She next starred in the 2004 science-fiction-adventure film Thunderbirds. Hudgens' most prominent role was as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series. She earned critical acclaim for her role as Sa5m in the 2009 film Bandslam. Hudgens' debut album V was released on September 26, 2006. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number twenty four, and was later certified Gold. Hudgens released her second album, Identified, on July 1, 2008 in the U.S. After HSM, Vanessa branched out and played as Lindy in Beastly and Blondie in Sucker Punch. V went back to her theater roots and played the role of Mimi in the theater show, Rent. Vanessa's upcoming movies are Journey 2: The Mysterious Island where she plays Kailani alongside Josh Hutcherson, Gimme Shelter as Apple alongside Brendan Fraser, Frozen Ground as Cindy alongside Nicolas Cage and John Cusack, Spring Breakers alongside Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts. Vanessa is also the new Candie's Girl.
